Interra KNX IP Router Secure with routing and tunneling interface

Interra IP Router Secure connects a KNX TP line to the IP Backbone and enables KNX communication between both the KNX environment KNX IP and KNX TP. Interra IP Router Secure can also be used as an IP Programming Interface to create fine-tuning connections for bus access of PCs and other data entry devices. Filtering of group communication and telegrams with physical addresses is configurable. The transmission of configuration telegrams from the TP downline to the IP trunk can be completely disabled. Special functions are also available to facilitate troubleshooting, speed up commissioning and prevent unnecessary telegram traffic.

Interra IP Router Secure supports the “Secure Commissioning” option. When enabled, configuration communication is encrypted by KNX Data Secure. This type of configuration protection is extremely important, especially for system components.

The main task of the IP Router S is to protect the entire KNX IP line from unwanted access. Upon activation of the “IP Backbone Security” function – only possible with the use of KNX IP Secure Routers Sec encrypts all communication on KNX IP with KNX IP Secure.
